The Lyre shaped clock is made of 22 ct gold gilded porcelain, and it has an applied metal laurel wreath swag, and sunburst cherub decoration, that is at the pinnacle of the piece. The porcelain surround to the dial is highlighted with laurel leaves, a design that continues to the sides. The convex glass cover, is surrounded by a real round cut crystals, to simulate diamonds. The analogue dial has a decorative surround, high lighted in gold, and the hands depict the stars and the moon.

So, we have the Sun, Moon and Stars. The condition is GOOD, however if you look at one of the photos of the top of the clock, a fraction of the sunburst is missing. The chime needs to be synchronised again, as the clocks strikes the hour, and at the moment does not correspond with real time. This is rectified by stopping the clock and readjusting the chime to the time. A pretty timepiece perfect for a mantelpiece or hallway.
