The Franklin Mints porcelain portrait doll of Princess Diana, dons a blue robins egg, draped Grecian inspired chiffon gown, which she wore to an event at the Cannes Film Festival in 1987. Dress was styled with the same dress worn by Princess Kelly in the 1950's Hitchcock filmTo Catch a Thief.
Princess Diana also wore this dress to the premiere of Miss Saigon in 1988 as well as for a formal portrait photograph. The chiffon gown was originally designed by Catherine Walken.
The long scarf is reminiscence of Hollywoods golden years. Shes accessorized with sapphire studded bracelet, matching dangling earrings and ring to complete the look. A silver clutch purse is still sealed in plastic case at the base by her feet. Never taken out from the box.Certificate of Authenticity is NOT included.
