This beautiful sculpture was done by Ronald Van Ruyckevelt for the Franklin Mint. The statue is or a man and a woman figure skating hand in hand. Name Skating in the Park.

The skate blades and the ladies brouch is coated in 24 karat gold, the brouch has a stone in the center, looks like a diamond, but can not confirm it. Dtaed 1986 on the bottom and says limited edition. Done in fine porcelain, and comes with a hard wood base. The base is customed made for this statue, BUT, we were going to take the picture of it sitting in the base, but it was to tight and did not want to force it in place, over the years sitting in the box, wondering it the opening in the base surank? Stands 12 tall, quite a large piece of fine art.
