Franklin Mint Nature's Four Seasons Parian Porcelain Set (4) Framed Plaques 1977

What's for sale is a complete set of four vintage wall plaques from the "Nature's Four Seasons" collection, produced by Franklin Mint (Franklin Porcelain) in 1977. Each plaque represents a different season and is mounted in a coordinating frame.

Designed by artist Maureen Schultz (initials "MDS" appear on the plaques), with some attribution also connected to George McMonigle. Produced by Franklin Mint as part of their collectible fine porcelain series. This set dates to 1977 and is crafted in a style inspired by Wedgwood Jasperware, featuring raised white relief scenes against colored backgrounds. Each plaque illustrates a seasonal nature theme. Spring (green): budding tree with rabbit, lamb, squirrel, and birds.

Summer (olive): full tree with horse, tortoise, and dog. Fall (mauve/red): fruiting tree with harvest elements, rabbit, and birds.

Winter (blue): bare tree with deer and winter wildlife. Made of Parian porcelain, known for its smooth, matte, marble-like finish. The plaques are framed and ready for wall display. Material: Parian porcelain with wood or composite frames. Color: White relief on green, olive, mauve/red, and blue backgrounds.

Size: Plaques approximately 5" x 7"; framed size approximately 9.5" x 11". Vintage condition with possible minor wear to frames and plaques consistent with age. Note fabric matting shows stains or water spots on all pieces as pictured. Frames have some wear, scratches, and surface marks as pictured.
