Mistress of Death sculpture by Franklin Mint, #4277 out of 9500. When I was a gothic teenager and still didn't understand adult humor, my dad and I were looking through a Franklin Mint catalog, and we were pointing to items we liked. He said OOOO, I like THAT one! " in what I now, nearly two decades later, understand as adult humor, but my much younger brain thought "oh good, I'll get him this for Christmas!

I didn't understand why everyone laughed so hard when he opened this gift. I hope you can giggle at this story.

I will always remember this sculpture with fondness for it, but I inherited it after my father passed away and it doesn't really go with my decor (plenty of other things to remember him by).
