Franklin Heirloom Collection Handpainted Porcelain Romeo & Juliet Dolls with Stand
Vtg Franklin Mint Romeo & Juliet Porcelain Hand-painted Dolls. These are beautifully hand-painted vintage porcelain dolls that were introduced by Franklin Heirloom Dolls by the Franklin Mint in 1988. The dolls face and arms up to the elbows and Juliets legs up to her knees are porcelain. The bodies are made of cloth. They are both dressed in renaissance clothing with golden threads and and faux pearls. Juliets dress is ruby red velvet with soft silky dark brown hair with braids, pearls and ribbons throughout her hair. She has a eyelet petticoat under her dress. Romeo has on a Royal purple velvet top over a long sleeve white shirt with a ruffled collar, dark tights, and brown boots on, he has gold edging around the edges of his top with a gold belt and a red faux stone in the middle. He is wearing a royal purple velvet hat with black silky short hair. Juliet-15-1/4" tall x 6" wide and skirt fully extended is approximately 12" x 13". Romeo-16-1/2" tall x 8" wide. Base of stand for both dolls ix 4-1/2 diameter. These dolls have been kept in individual glass cases so they are in excellent condition. But please see pictures as they are part of the description.
