Complete 13 Pc Set Franklin Mint Vatican Nativity Porcelain Sculpture Collection

This is a Franklin Mint set entitled The Vatican Nativity Collection. This was the first ever collection of its kind, officially authorized by the Vatican Museums. Each of the 12 sculptures and the Creche is crated in fine Bisque Porcelain intricately hand painted in jewel-like colors with radiant accents of 24 karat gold. This set was issued in a limited edition of 45 firing days in 1982.

My mom had a habit of purchasing sets of this kind, and each was generally displayed once then put away and never displayed again. Each of the figures is in its original box with certificates.

The Creche is not in an original box, but my understanding is that it did not come in a red box like the figurines, but rather in a plain box. Everything is in pristine, perfect, like new condition.
