12 Franklin Mint Limited Edition Wizard of Oz Glass Dome Music Box Sculptures

12 Franklin Mint Limited Edition Wizard of Oz Glass Dome Music Box Sculptures. Any Wizard of Oz fans here? Here are twelve fantastic Wizard of Oz collectible pieces that would be an amazing addition to absolutely any Oz collection. They were produced by Franklin Mint as Limited Editions between 1994 and 1997.

They are all marked with their sculpt numbers. Each figure/sculpture features a classic movie scene and is covered by a glass cloche. Each has a wind up musical function playing an original soundtrack song, with handle/key being on the underside of the figure/sculpture. The House Began To Pitch #VVT2305 - 1995 - Plays: "It Really Was No Miracle". I'm Glinda, The Good Witch #VTT4936 - 1995 - Plays "Come Out, Come Out".

We Represent The Lollypop Guild #DVT3058 - 1997 - Plays "Lollipop Guild". There Goes Some Of Me Again! #PVT5974 - Not Marked With Year - Plays "Follow The Yellow Brick Road". #RUW3471 - 1997 - Plays "If I Only Had A Heart".

What a Fuss You're Making #RWT4871 - 1997 - Plays "We're Off To See The Wizard". We're Off To See The Wizard #OQP5078 - 1994 - Plays "We're Off To See The Wizard".

I'll Get You, My Pretty #VWV3649 - 1995 - Plays "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead". #QOO8367 - 1997 - Plays "We're Out Of The Woods". A Brain, A Heart, The Nerve #WW5775 - 1996 - Plays "If I Only Had A Brain". There's No Place Like Home #A3214 - 1996 - Plays "Somewhere Over The Rainbow".

There's No Place Like Home #XM4151 - 1997 - Plays "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". Each glass cloche is approximately 4.5" tall and 3" in diameter. Each piece overall is approximately 5.25" tall with the base being 4" in diameter. Each figure/sculpture winds and plays its' designated melody loudly and well.

All pieces are in very good condition, with only two having defects/blemishes/damage I can identify with careful examination. The glass bulb surrounding Glinda, on I'm Glinda, The Good Witch, has a hazy spot on the lower front and a white/hazy ring around a portion of the globe near the middle. The piece I'm Melting! Suffered damage/breakage that has been previously repaired.

The Wicked Witch is missing the pinky finger on her left hand (remaining white portion was painted green to make the tiny spot less noticeable) and there was a chip on her left elbow that has been painted over to cover the exposed white. Most noticeably, the brim of her hat was broken off and into two pieces (with small portions missing). It was glued back into place, missing portions filled and painted. The inset portion, where the cloche rim sits, also had multiple small areas of missing paint, as did the very bottom of the backside. These areas were also touched up. And, finally, this cloche was broken and replaced. The replacement has a small bubble/defect from manufacture near the bottom (I just positioned it on the backside and it wasn't visible while on display). The repairs on this piece weren't obviously noticeable when the piece was on display. (Note- the Wicked Witch was slightly dusty in the close up photos, not heavily chipped) All of these defects/blemishes/damage are indicated and identified in the last photo collage. Original boxes and COA's are NOT included. Please zoom in and examine all photos carefully for condition. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Decorative Collectibles\Sculptures & Figurines".
