This is a fine antique reproduction French lyre clock, produced by the Franklin Mint in 1996, made identical to the clock that measured the hours in Marie-Antoinette's rooms in Versailles, officially sponsored by the Victoria and Albert Museum. The dial is around 10cm in diameter, and painted with Zodiac & Roman / Arabic numerals. Decorated with accents of 22ct gold, and over sixty genuine crystals, fitted with the highest quality Franz Hermle eight-day jeweled movement. In excellent cosmetic condition, as pictured.
